| An outdoor wooden replica of the centuries-old Heart Sutra, one of the world's best known Buddhist sutras or prayers, the Wisdom Path is situated on a hillside close to the Giant Buddha on Lantau Island. The 260-word Heart Sutra is engraved in Chinese calligraphy on all but one of the 38 wooden columns erected in a figure-eight formation to represent infinity. |

Located near the Giant Buddha, the Wisdom Path can be reached by taking the path leading off to the left when facing the Buddha. It's a 15 to 20-minute walk up the hill. |
